Following script/ storyboard P3 (b)

When filming we had to follow storyboard precisely to have done exactly what we planned. Below you can see examples where pictures drawn in a storyboard reflect the footage that we have taken. On the first example you can see the shot where Pasha in going towards the group of his friends and greets them. on the right you can see how we wanted this shot to look and on the left yo can see how this shot actually looked. They look quite similar so it means that we followed the storyboard.
On the second example you can see the shot where Pasha is rapping on the football field. As you can see, we planned Pasha to be dressed in hoodie, cap and gold chain when were writing the storyboard and the location to be "field". As you can see, on the footage taken Pasha wears exactly these clothes and sings exactly in this location. On the third example you can see, that again we followed what was planned in terms of clothes positioning people in the shot and choosing location for filming.

On the following 3 other shots you can see that the picture drawn looks similar to what we filmed, so it means we followed our plans.

Filming Diary.

8th February 2014: At this day the weather was sunny and clear and this made our filming process much more easy as we didn't have to care about the equipment as if it was raining. At this day we planned to film Pasha in front of the school with his friends and film the scene number 2. He had some problems with people coming out of the main entrance of Kent College and we had to wait until they are all gone, but even bigger problem was a taxi that came was waiting for a client in front of the school. This delayed our filming a little bit and our actors became a bit unhappy because of the lost time.

15th February 2014: On this day we were filming how Pasha and his friends hang out together. This has been shot mainly in the park and on the Whitstable road. Not all of the actors were there at that day. Only guys came for the filming. The weather was good again and this was really lucky as before the weather was really awful and the 15th was the only day when it was sunny.

16th February 2013: On this day we had some minor problems but we were able to quickly resolve them. We were supposed to meet at 13:00 at the main entrance of the school but some actors were late so we ended up having all the members at the meeting point only by 13:30. The filming generally went well, there were not a lot of people on the streets, so it was easy and quick for us to film. We were running out of tie but we quickly took all the shots that we needed and finished for the day.
